Moen Kitchen Remodeling in Las Vegas, NV

Moen Kitchen Remodeling: The Las Vegas Owner’s Guide

Most Moen kitchen remodels we handle in Las Vegas run $14,000-$45,000 installed, depending on scope, and we can typically get your project started within two weeks of your call. We stock Moen-compatible fixtures and hardware across the Arbor, Align, and Sleek series, plus we carry KraftMaid and Cambria options for homeowners doing full kitchen overhauls. If your Moen faucet is leaking under the sink, your pull-down hose is fraying, or your cartridge is grinding after years of hard Las Vegas water, you’re not alone - we see this weekly in Summerlin and Henderson kitchens where mineral buildup from Lake Mead supply accelerates wear.

Homeowners usually figure out something’s wrong when the faucet drips even with the handle fully closed, or when the spray head loses pressure and the hose retracts sluggishly. Sometimes it’s a slow sink cabinet flood you don’t notice until the particleboard swells. The ground doesn’t lie, and neither do we - we’ll tell you if it’s a $200 cartridge swap or time to redesign the whole sink zone.

Which Moen Models This Applies To

Moen’s kitchen lineup breaks into several series, and the right replacement part depends on which generation you own. The Arbor line (7594 series) uses a 1255 Duralast cartridge that’s distinct from the older 1225 cartridge found in pre-2015 Chateau and Extensa models. Align (7565 series) and Sleek (7864 series) share the same pull-down hose assembly - Moen part number 150259 - but the Arbor’s hose routing differs slightly, so don’t assume cross-compatibility. Check the escutcheon plate or the original manual for a six-digit model number; if that’s gone, look under the sink for a stamped tag on the supply lines.

We source OEM Moen cartridges, hoses, and valve bodies, but for certain applications we’ll spec a quality aftermarket equivalent when the price gap is significant and the warranty coverage matches. In Las Vegas, we don’t recommend aftermarket cartridges for homes on well water or older municipal lines in areas like North Las Vegas, where sediment load is higher - the OEM Duralast seal holds up better. We keep Arbor, Align, and Sleek cartridges on our trucks, plus common KraftMaid sink base configurations for when the cabinet itself has water damage.

Groundwork Construction Co. of Las Vegas is an independent service provider - we’re not affiliated with Moen - but we’ve installed enough of their hardware across the valley to know which SKU fails where.

Signs Your Moen Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing

  • Handle requires extra force to turn. The cartridge seals are degrading, usually from calcium buildup in Las Vegas’s hard water (measured at 280-350 ppm in most Clark County service areas). Left alone, you’ll strip the handle spline or crack the escutcheon.
  • Pull-down spray head won’t stay docked or retracts slowly. The counterweight has slipped, or the hose liner has swollen from heat exposure - common in south-facing kitchens in Anthem or Seven Hills where afternoon sun hits the cabinet.
  • Water leaks from the base of the faucet spout. The O-ring kit (Moen part 117 for most kitchen models) has hardened. It’s a ten-dollar part, but the disassembly order matters; force the wrong component and you’ll score the valve body.
  • Low flow from one side (hot or cold only). The supply line inlet screen is clogged with scale, or the cartridge port is blocked. In older Boulder City homes with galvanized supply, we see this combined with reduced pressure at other fixtures.
  • Squealing or chattering when water runs. The check valve in the spray diverter is fluttering, often because debris is trapped. This precedes full diverter failure by weeks, not months.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

Here’s what Moen kitchen work costs in the Las Vegas market:

  • Cartridge replacement (faucet still functional): $200-$450
  • Pull-down hose and spray head assembly: $280-$550
  • Full faucet replacement, Moen to Moen: $450-$950
  • Sink base cabinet replacement (water-damaged): $1,200-$3,800
  • Full kitchen remodel with Moen fixtures: $14,000-$45,000

The range depends on access (island sinks with limited cabinet depth take longer), whether we need to modify supply lines for current code, and if the countertop cutout matches your new faucet footprint. Our upfront pricing means the number you see is the number you pay - no trip charges, no “while we’re here” add-ons. Every installation carries our 730-Day Done Right Promise: if it’s not done right, we make it right. Built to last, backed in writing.

DIY or Call Us?

Here’s where we draw the line honestly. Checking the supply shutoffs and looking for the model tag - that’s safe homeowner territory. Swapping a spray head if you already have the replacement - also reasonable, though we’ve seen cross-threaded connections that cracked the brass body.

Cartridge replacement gets risky fast. The retaining clip is under spring pressure, and without the right puller you can drive the cartridge into the valve body. We’ve been called to three homes this year in the southwest valley where a homeowner cracked the ceramic disc and turned a $300 job into a full faucet replacement plus cabinet repair. If you’re not certain of the disassembly sequence, call us. Todd Mervyn and our team carry the specialty tools, and most cartridge swaps finish in under 90 minutes. Dial (855) 951-4361 - a live person answers 24/7, and we’ll give you a straight answer on whether it’s worth your Saturday or better left to us.
