Unilock Bathroom Remodeling in Las Vegas, NV

Unilock Bathroom Remodeling: The Las Vegas Owner’s Guide

We stock and install Unilock-compatible bathroom remodeling systems in Las Vegas, with most full remodels running $9,000-$28,000 installed and partial updates starting around $5,000. Most jobs start within 1-2 weeks of your call, and our trucks carry common Unilock shower base, wall panel, and enclosure hardware so we’re not waiting on shipping. Homeowners usually figure out something’s wrong when they spot water pooling where the base meets the wall, or when a panel joint starts separating after a few years of our hard Vegas water and temperature swings.

Which Unilock Models This Applies To

Unilock’s bathroom line breaks into three main series you’re likely to find in Las Vegas homes: the Classic Series (discontinued around 2016 but still common in Summerlin and Henderson builds from that era), the Pro Series (2014-present, identifiable by the blue “Pro” sticker on the aluminum frame extrusion), and the Elite Series (2019-present, frameless glass with brushed nickel or matte black hardware). The Classic and Pro bases share the same 48″ x 36″ and 60″ x 32″ rough opening specs, but the wall panel interlock geometry changed in 2017, so a Classic base won’t seal properly with Pro panels without the transition gasket kit, part U-TRG-48 or U-TRG-60.

To identify your exact model, check the etched code on the lower track extrusion, usually visible on the threshold edge after removing the snap-in cover strip. The first four digits are the manufacture week and year. For Elite Series, look for the laser-etched QR code on the hinge side jamb. We carry OEM Unilock gaskets, rollers, and magnetic seals, plus an aftermarket equivalent from ShowerDoorPartsDirect that matches the Pro Series spec at about 60% of OEM cost. We warranty both the same way under our 730-Day Done Right Promise.

Signs Your Unilock Bathroom Remodeling Is Failing

  • Water seeping from the base corners. The vinyl compression gasket under the threshold hardens in our desert heat after 4-6 years, losing its seal against the tile or pan. In Las Vegas, we see this accelerated by alkaline water deposits that crystallize in the gasket channel.
  • Panel dragging or jumping in the track. The Delrin roller wheels flat-spot over time, especially on the heavier Elite Series glass panels. Once the wheel diameter drops below 19mm, the panel won’t self-center and the anti-jump clip starts catching.
  • Magnetic seal gaps at the strike jamb. The flexible PVC magnet housing shrinks in dry heat, creating a 1/8″-3/16″ gap that lets spray through. This is almost always the seal, not door alignment, and it’s a 20-minute swap with the right profile.
  • Wall panel bowing or delamination. The fiberglass-backed acrylic panels in pre-2018 Classics can separate when the adhesive fails, usually starting at a cutout for a valve or diverter. Once you see the halo effect around a fixture, water’s already behind the panel.
  • Frame corrosion at the sill or jamb base. Unilock switched from 6063-T5 to 6063-T6 aluminum in 2019 for better salt and hard-water resistance. Older frames in Las Vegas develop pitting where water pools, and once the anodized layer is breached, it spreads fast.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

Every bathroom remodel carries our 730-Day Done Right Promise, and we don’t collect final payment until you sign off on the walkthrough.

DIY or Call Us?

There’s a clear line here. A homeowner with a decent drill and patience can swap a magnetic seal or a roller wheel, and we’ll sell you the part if you know the exact profile code. But once you’re dealing with the base gasket, wall panel removal, or anything involving the shower valve rough-in, you’re into waterproofing territory where a mistake costs you subfloor, framing, and maybe the ceiling below.

We’ve been called into too many Las Vegas bathrooms where a DIY gasket replacement turned into a $4,000 mold remediation because the pan wasn’t reseated to the liner properly. The ground doesn’t lie, and neither do we. If you’re not certain what’s behind that panel, call (855) 951-4361 and we’ll tell you straight whether it’s a 30-minute fix or a full tearout. Estimates are free, and our live person answers 24/7.
