ViewLux Driveway & Pavers in Las Vegas, NV

ViewLux Driveway & Pavers: The Las Vegas Owner’s Guide

We stock and install ViewLux-compatible driveway and paver systems across Las Vegas, with most paver driveway replacements running $7,000-$18,000 and concrete driveway installations at $4,500-$12,000 depending on your lot grade and base condition. Same-day assessments are available, and we carry common ViewLux edge restraints, polymeric sand, and paver base materials on every truck. Most Las Vegas homeowners realize something’s wrong when they notice shifting pavers after a monsoon season, or when the original polymeric sand has washed out from the valley’s hard, driving rains.

Which ViewLux Models This Applies To

ViewLux distributes several paver and hardscape product lines through Las Vegas-area suppliers, and the part you need depends on when your driveway was installed. Pre-2019 ViewLux installations typically used a 60mm-thick concrete paver with a beveled edge profile and a plastic snap-edge restraint system. After 2019, the brand shifted to an 80mm commercial-grade paver with a slightly different interlock geometry and a powder-coated aluminum edge restraint. Check the underside of a loose paver for the stamped “VLX” code and a four-digit date stamp. If your driveway has the older snap-edge plastic, we stock the upgraded aluminum replacement because the plastic becomes brittle after three Las Vegas summers of UV exposure and starts cracking at the spike holes. We’re an independent service provider, not affiliated with ViewLux, so we source both OEM-matching pavers and compatible aftermarket alternatives from Belgard and other verified partners when ViewLux stock is back-ordered.

Signs Your ViewLux Driveway & Pavers Is Failing

  • Pavers rocking or wobbling underfoot. This usually means the bedding sand layer has eroded or compacted unevenly, often from water running off a poorly graded slope during our intense spring storms. The fix isn’t just re-leveling; we need to address the drainage path or you’ll be doing this again in two years.
  • Visible gaps between pavers where sand is missing. Polymeric sand breaks down faster in Las Vegas than in milder climates because our summer surface temperatures on dark pavers hit 140°F, causing thermal expansion that cracks the hardened sand joints. Once water gets in, freeze-thaw isn’t the issue; it’s the undermining from monsoon runoff.
  • Sunken or low spots, especially near the garage or downspout outlets. This indicates base failure, and in the valley’s caliche-heavy soil, inadequate base compaction during original installation is almost always the cause. We see this constantly in Summerlin and Henderson builds from the mid-2000s where crews cut corners on the 6-inch minimum compacted aggregate base.
  • Edge pavers tipping outward or separating from the field. The edge restraint has failed, either from spike corrosion in our alkaline soil or from the plastic fatigue we mentioned. Left alone, the whole perimeter loosens and the field pavers migrate.
  • Efflorescence, that white chalky film on paver surfaces. This is mineral salts migrating through the concrete, harmless structurally but a sign that moisture is moving through the system more than it should. In Las Vegas, it often appears after irrigation systems are redirected or when grade changes force water toward the pavement.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

Here’s what driveway and paver work costs in the Las Vegas market, with parts and labor separated so you know exactly what you’re paying for:

Service Installed Price Range What’s Included
Paver Driveway Installation $7,000-$18,000 Excavation, 6″ compacted base, bedding sand, pavers, edge restraint, polymeric sand, cleanup
Concrete Driveway Installation $4,500-$12,000 Forming, rebar or wire mesh, 4″ minimum pour, control joints, finish, seal
Asphalt Driveway Paving $3,500-$9,000 Grading, 2″ binder layer, 1.5″ wear course, compaction
Driveway Replacement $5,000-$14,000 Removal of existing, haul-away, base repair, new surface
Driveway Sealing $250-$700 Power wash, crack fill, two-coat sealer application
Paver Patio Installation $3,500-$11,000 Base prep, pavers, edging, joint sand, compaction

The wide ranges reflect real variables: driveway size obviously, but also whether we hit caliche that needs breaking, if your lot needs a retaining wall to correct grade, or whether we’re matching discontinued ViewLux paver colors that require special-ordering from regional distributors. Every quote we provide is upfront pricing, no surprises. The number you see is the number you pay. All paver and driveway work is covered by our 730-Day Done Right Promise, if it’s not done right, we make it right.

DIY or Call Us?

There’s a honest line here, and we’ll tell you exactly where it sits. A homeowner can safely check for loose pavers, look for the ViewLux stamp code, and clear debris from joints. You can even sweep in new polymeric sand if the base is still solid and the pavers aren’t rocking. Where DIY goes wrong is base repair. Once you’ve got excavation, compaction in lifts with a plate compactor, and grade management for drainage, you’re into work that determines whether the job lasts five years or twenty. We’ve been called to redo too many homeowner projects in Anthem and Seven Hills where the base settled because someone skipped the geo-fabric or used the wrong aggregate gradation. The ground doesn’t lie, and neither do we. If your pavers are shifting or your driveway is cracking, call (855) 951-4361 and we’ll give you a straight assessment of whether it’s a simple fix or needs full reconstruction.
